The Loacker Lodge at NYCWFF

The Loacker Lodge at NYCWFF

It’s that time of year again –NYC Wine & Food Festival Time! Despite my work with Food Network and Cooking Channel, I actually haven’t been to NYCWFF until this year (I know, crazy) and I was lucky enough to spend the opening night at the festival in the best way possible. How, you ask? Well, obviously, at a ski lodge eating pumpkin spice cheesecake with vanilla wafers. No, I’m not lying. This is this year’s Loacker activation and it’s definitely worth checking out.

In the middle of the Pier 92/94 festival setup, you’ve got this beauty.

It wouldn’t be a Loacker Lodge without our favorite wafers, now would it?

And of course, you need some delicious desserts. Loacker partnered with the chefs from Maman to make some seriously delicious snacks, and to promote their #ElevateYourTaste campaign. With the holidays coming up, they want to promote their snacks as great gifts, desserts, and components for different holiday recipes. I’m 1000% on board with this.

Here was the dessert lineup from this year’s Loacker Lodge activation:

Loacker Tiramisu with marscapone cream, espresso, espresso Loacker wafers, dark chocolate shavings & cocoa powder

Loacker Pumpkin & Salted Caramel Cheesecake with pumpkin spice cheesecake with Vanilla Loacker graham crust & salted caramel sauce

Loacker Berry Crumble Bar with mixed berry crumble bar with Loacker blueberry yogurt crumble

The snacks were delicious, but of course Loacker went above and beyond to make their lodge the perfect Instagram destination.

Here I am holding wafers, looking like I’m on a ski vacation. If you head to NYCWFF this year, go show that #LoackerLove with a wafer selife in their lodge! And if you’re interested in winning some Loacker goodies, enter their grand prize giveaway by following their Instagram and subscribing to their newsletter.
